As a little inspiration, and to remind you that you can sew the Ice Cream Dress as a simple top too, here’s a photo taken this morning of S wearing her new top made from a recent Anna Maria Horner voile.

I noticed you omitted the notch at the neckline. Any reason?

Jes, you know what? I didn’t even notice that it was missing! I completely forgot to sew it. That’s what you get for relying on your memory and not following the directions…

It’s cute as a little top.
Sewing the dress this Spring was one of my favorite projects.

I’ve made a few Oliver and S clothes for my three kids but this is the first time I’ve left a comment. Usually, I’m reading blogs with a baby or small child attached to me! Thanks for all the details for tracing patterns etc – it’s very useful!
