I'm pleased to introduce our three new pattern styles for Fall + Winter 2011.
This season’s line includes two patterns for girls: a sweet pants and top outfit and a dropped-waist dress with gathered skirt. The line also includes a unisex pajamas pattern that is sure to be a hit with your customers who are already planning their holiday sewing.
These new styles will begin shipping during the first full week of September. We are now taking pre-orders for them. You can download the pre-order form from our website to get your order in early for priority shipping.
Cheers,
Liesl

When school is over, it’s time to change into something cute and comfortable.
The pattern for this perfect after-school outfit for girls features a loose-fitting pull-on shirt with long sleeves, a bateau neck, and a cute offset button detail at the front and back yokes.
The pull-on elastic-waist pants include a separate side panel which allows for use of a contrast trim near the hem. An alternate view of the pants includes ruffle details at the front pocket opening and at the back.
The top is designed to be sewn with lightweight woven fabrics like quilting cotton, voile, lawn, shirting, poplin, broadcloth, and linen.
The pants can be made from light- to medium-weight woven fabrics like quilting cotton, chambray, twill, light-weight denim, and fine-wale corduroy.
This pattern is rated two of four scissors in difficulty.

What better way to spend a cool afternoon than going apple picking?
The pattern for this versatile dress includes a wide button placket, a bow at the neck, bias-bound sleeves, and a dropped waist for a vintage feel.
View A has three-quarter length sleeves and a double-layer gathered skirt, while view B is long sleeved with a single-layer skirt.
This dress pattern is intended for use with light- to medium-weight woven fabrics like quilting cotton, voile, lawn, shirting, poplin, broadcloth, flannel, and linen.
It is rated two of four scissors in difficulty.

Get out your new pajamas for the sleepover!
The pattern for this boys’ or girls’ pajama top, which was inspired by vintage baseball jersey styling, features contrast trim at the outside edge and on the pockets. The cuff at the sleeves can be let down as the child grows.
The elastic-waist pull-on pants have no side seam for extra sleeping comfort and include contrast bias trim at the hem that can also be let down as the child grows.
Make the alternate view with ruffles for a sweet girls’ version.
The pattern is designed for flannel (perfect for Christmas sewing) or for lightweight woven fabrics like quilting cotton, broadcloth, lawn, shirting, poplin, voile, and linen.
This pattern, as well, is rated two of four scissors in difficulty.

All the photos above show our new patterns made from our upcoming Cape Ann fabric collection from Moda.
Cape Ann features sweet and charming hand-drawn illustrations which are simultaneously nostalgic and contemporary, as well as supporting prints inspired by nature. The line includes 24 SKUs in quilting cotton and 24 SKUs in a wonderful brushed cotton which has the loft, warmth, and softness of flannel. To see the prints and colorways included in the collection, you can download a PDF of the line list from our website.
The collection will ship in October. Your Moda rep is taking orders now.
